Windmill Hostal is a gem with its resort-like amenities - a swimming pool, lounge chairs, 2 kitchens, and an amazing games room. There are plenty of activities and nearby supermarkets, perfect for budget travelers.

I stayed at Windmill Hostal for one night and found it to be a great value for a hostel. Robert, the manager, was friendly and maintained a pleasant atmosphere for guests. The hostel had spacious common areas, including 2 full bathrooms, 2-3 single toilets, and 2-3 single showers, as well as 3 cooking areas. The private room was simple, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The swimming pool and outside area were beautiful, especially at night with the underwater lights. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything I needed. The property and garden were also very nice.

Despite a few drawbacks, my xmas stay at this hotel was not all bad. The location was spot on, conveniently situated near all the attractions. The pool and gardens were a pleasant surprise, providing a great area for relaxation and recreation. In addition, the staff was helpful and friendly, always willing to assist with any queries or concerns.

There were a few negatives to consider. The lack of proper ventilation in the rooms was a major issue, as the air felt stuffy and stagnant.

There were numerous amenities available, including a pool with gargoyle fountains, a palapa with hammocks and outside kitchens, a recreation room with games, and a beautiful bridge overlooking a scenic view. The private rooms were comfortable and clean, equipped with air conditioning and a flatscreen TV. Additionally, there was a delicious grilled chicken restaurant conveniently located next door.

Had a great New Year's experience at a hostel in a beautiful location. Enjoyed the nice swimming pool and garden, perfect for relaxing. The dorms were solid, although the mattresses were a bit too soft for my liking. The lockers were spacious and the bathrooms were kept very clean.
